How lovely it is to dine al fresco...
Get a little boost of Vitamin D by enjoying a quiet meal out in the sunshine.
Vitamin D is essential for strong bones. Studies have found that increasing vitamin D reduces the risk of hip fractures and tooth loss and significantly increases muscle strength. Americans are getting less and less of the critical vitamin.
Our bodies produce vitamin D when we are exposed to the sun.

Salmon, slowly smoked over fruit wood, is so delicious...
According to an article in the September&October 2009 issue of AARP (AARPMagazine.ORG), the Archives of Internal Medicine reports that vitamin D may help ward off some illnesses including cancer and heart disease.
Doctors are recommending 10 to 15 minutes of sun exposure a few times a week.
How about a two-fer? Create a meal high in vitamin D… salmon and shitake mushrooms for instance… and eat it outdoors.
